FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: E2 Systems Introduces Exercise Explorer ®: A new concept in Fitness… SILVERADO, CA - July 26, 2001 - E2 Systems' new software builds professional workouts that target activities ranging from Archery to Water Skiing. This is made possible by a relational database that has detailed analyses of over 100 activities and 280 exercises. Exercise Explorer selects and organizes these exercises to create a workout based on chosen activities, user characteristics, and available equipment. Anyone can train for his or her favorite sport, daily activity, or vacation adventure to improve performance and minimize the chance of injury. Cross-referencing between exercises, activities, and muscles is made possible by using the Explore feature of the software. A comprehensive anatomical muscle reference is included with detailed graphics that illustrate the muscular anatomy in a simple, easy to use format. These features make Exercise Explorer an excellent resource for personal trainers, exercise physiology students, and other fitness professionals. A built-in fitness assessment feature allows users to track their progress and compare their fitness level with norms of the general population. Lawrence A. Golding, Ph. D., FASCM is the chief technical advisor. Dr. Golding, a distinguished professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and Editor-in-Chief of ACSM's Health & Fitness Journal, brings over 40 years of practical experience and knowledge to Exercise Explorer. In addition, an advisory board of fitness professionals contributes to the accuracy of the content. Exercise Explorer has videos to demonstrate each exercise and body action, and 40 minutes of informative videos with Dr. Golding discussing exercise related topics. Exercise Explorer was designed to be easy to use, upgradeable, accurate, comprehensive, and affordable. Three editions of the software are available: Professional, Standard, and Student to address a variety of needs. The software will operate on any Windows 95 or later Windows operating system. Founded in mid 2000, E2 Systems Inc. has spent the last year developing the Exercise Explorer software and website. Additional features and capabilities will be developed for the software going forward. # # # |
